巴林石闲章（Sold）

“A Balin stone seal inscribed with ‘坐看云起时’ (literally, ‘Sitting and Watching the Clouds Rise’), with the side inscription ‘千石’ (Thousand Stones), artist unknown. The characters convey a sense of freedom and loftiness, and the carving style is elegant and dashing, making it a remarkable seal. However, the quality of the side inscription does not match that of the main carving, somewhat akin to ‘a weasel tail trying to pass as a mink’s’. Despite this, the seal remains an impressive piece.”
