This is a valuable early rubbing (拓本) of the Tang Sanzang Holy Teaching Stele. The original stele is currently located in the Shaanxi Beilin Museum, but it has suffered significant damage over the years. This Ming Dynasty rubbing, despite being partly damaged, provides a nearly complete representation of the original and is exceptionally precious. It serves as a comprehensive collection of the calligraphy by the renowned sage Wang Xizhi, making it a valuable cultural relic.
