“A foldable Buddhist scripture offering table, with three panels (legs) elaborately carved with dragons, phoenixes, immortals, qilins, elk, lingzhi mushrooms, lotus ponds, auspicious cranes, pine trees, and brocade patterns in openwork. Every detail, from the figures and birds to the clouds and trees, is full and vibrant, with lifelike lines and a complete sense of spirit. Judging from its features, it dates back to the 18th century. Having been used for hundreds of years, the patina is deep, and the fragrance is striking. The table measures 75 centimeters in length, 35 centimeters in height, and 26 centimeters in width. It is an extremely rare and authentic piece of Han-Tibetan Buddhist art, originating from a Tibetan monk who emigrated to Canada from the Himalayan region.”
