“A small appreciation vase with sacrificial blue glaze and gold-painted cloud dragon pattern, standing 8 centimeters tall. The glaze is applied using a blowing technique, resulting in a deep blue color, almost ink-like, contrasted with dazzling gold. The five-clawed dragon amidst clouds is depicted with majestic grandeur. The vase is well-trimmed, and the exposed parts of the body show a heavier flint red color. The bottom of the vase is coated with a thick, duck egg blue and white glaze. A Qing dynasty piece, it is a small vessel with a grand presence. Originating from a seasoned Hong Kong collector.”
