A hardwood carved armchair with a backrest inlaid with marble, featuring a trapezoidal seat with a width of 50 centimeters at the front and 45 centimeters at the back, with a depth of approximately 50 centimeters. The space between the three curved legs at the front and back is 61 centimeters. The backrest panel is directly connected to the back leg, and the armrests are intricately carved with Lingzhi mushroom patterns. The armrests and seat are unusually small, possibly designed for ease of meditation practice. The overall height of the armchair is 88 centimeters. This type of chair is considered a rare item domestically, and it likely dates back to no later than the mid-Qing Dynasty. It is made of thick and sturdy materials, with precise joinery, making it a fine piece of craftsmanship.
